Library Ladder | Handcrafted Candle | Marble Falls
7th Street Salvage began as an architectural salvage business. We were looking for different ways to reuse our reclaimed scrap wood. Our candle lids were born! Each piece of wood is salvaged from old homes and buildings, primarily in the Macon, GA and central Georgia region. Each candle lid is like a fingerprint, which makes every one of our candles unique and one-of-a-kind. As we like to say, "old things have soul," and the stories these pieces of wood have, speaks volumes. Each of our candles are developed using high quality, sustainable, and reusable materials. Our wax is a blend of soy, coconut, and beeswax. We use lead-free, cotton wicks. Our large candles are made in recycled glass jars. We use phthalate-free fragrance oils. We custom make each of our wooden lids (large candles) in our woodworking studio. Each of our candle names conjure up different memories for both of us.
